Use this guide to configure an activity template to require operator signatures and reviewer approval before activities can be completed.
WHEN TO USE THIS
- Use this guide if:
- You want activities to require reviewer approval.
- You are configuring activities for regulated or quality-controlled processes.
PREREQUISITES
- Before starting:
- You have access to edit Activity Templates.
- The activity template already exists.
STEPS
- Open the Activity Templates page.
- Select the activity template you want to configure.
- Enable Require Signature if operators should sign the activity.
- Enable Require Approval.
- Save the activity template.
EXPECTED RESULT
- After completing these steps:
- Operators must sign the activity.
- Completed activities are sent to reviewers before they can be marked as completed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Issue: Activities do not require reviewer approval.
- Try: Verify that Require Approval is enabled.
- Try: Save the activity template after making changes.
Issue: Operators are not prompted to sign.
- Try: Verify that Require Signature is enabled.
- Try: Refresh Operator View after updating the template.
