Use these steps to add the Factbird MCP app to your own ChatGPT account.

Add the app
At the time of writing:
- In ChatGPT on the web, go to Settings → Security and login.
- Turn on Developer mode.
- Go to Settings → Apps → Create.
- Enter the name Factbird.
- Enter the MCP URL: https://api.cloud.factbird.com/mcp.
- Select OAuth as the authentication method. Click Create.
- Sign in with your Factbird account and click Allow.
- The app shows under Drafts in your app settings.
Developer mode works on the web only. Plus and Pro accounts can only read data through custom MCP apps. The Factbird MCP only reads data, so this limit does not block any Factbird queries.
