SUMMARY
Use this guide to complete an activity that requires an electronic signature using an Operator Profile. Signing the activity records who performed the work and provides traceability within Factbird.
WHEN TO USE THIS
- Use this guide if:
- An activity requires an electronic signature.
- You need to sign an activity using an Operator Profile.
PREREQUISITES
- Before starting:
- You are logged in to Factbird.
- The activity requires an electronic signature.
- You know the PIN for the Operator Profile you will use.
STEPS
- Open the activity you want to complete.
- Complete all required activity fields.
- Select the appropriate Operator Profile.
- Enter the PIN associated with the selected Operator Profile.
- Submit the activity.
EXPECTED RESULT
- After completing these steps:
- The activity is electronically signed using the selected Operator Profile.
- The signature is recorded as part of the activity history.
- If the activity requires approval, it is submitted for reviewer approval.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Issue: The Operator Profile is unavailable.
- Try: Verify the profile has been configured in the Operators tab.
- Try: Refresh the page and reopen the activity.
Issue: You cannot approve the activity after signing it.
- Try: Confirm whether your logged-in account has approval permissions.
- Try: Ask a user with the appropriate role to review and approve the activity.
