How to manage batches in Operator view

SUMMARY

Use this guide to manage batches in Operator View by viewing, stopping, switching, or creating batches from the batch controls

 

 

WHEN TO USE THIS

  • Use this guide if:
    • You need to manage active or upcoming batches
    • You want to stop, switch, view, or create batches

       

PREREQUISITES

  • Before starting:
    • You have access to Operator View
    • Batch functionality is enabled on your line
       

STEPS

Locate the batch management controls in Operator View.

To view all batches:

2. Click View All.
3. Review the list of planned and queued batches.
 

To stop the current batch:

4. Click the Stop (red) icon.
5. Confirm the stop action in the dialog.

 

To switch to the next batch:

6. Click the Next Batch (grey) icon.
7. Select a batch from the list of pending batches.
8. Confirm your selection.
 

To create a new batch:

9. Click New Batch.
10. Enter the required batch details.
11. Save the batch.

Monitor the performance indicator to see if the batch is ahead or behind target.

EXPECTED RESULT

  • After completing these steps:
    • You can view all planned batches
    • The current batch can be stopped
    • A new batch can be started or selected
    • New batches can be created and added to the queue

       

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Issue: Cannot see batch list
    • Try: Refresh Operator View
    • Try: Confirm batches are scheduled
       
  • Issue: Unable to stop batch
    • Try: Check permissions
    • Try: Confirm a batch is currently active
       
  • Issue: Next batch option is unavailable
    • Try: Ensure there are pending batches in the queue
    • Try: Refresh the view
       
  • Issue: Cannot create new batch
    • Try: Ensure all required fields are completed
    • Try: Check user permissions
