Activity tracking

SUMMARY

Use Activity Tracking to monitor the status of Activities across production lines in real time. Activity Tracking provides a centralized view of completed, pending, skipped, and failed Activities, helping supervisors and production teams identify work that requires attention.

WHAT THIS IS

Activity Tracking is a centralized view within Connected Operations that provides real-time visibility into Activities across your production environment.

Rather than checking each production line individually, supervisors and team leaders can monitor the status of all triggered Activities from a single location. This makes it easier to identify overdue work, review completed Activities, and quickly respond to exceptions.

The page displays the current state of Activities, allowing teams to understand what has been completed, what is still pending, and which Activities require follow-up.

WHY IT MATTERS

Monitoring Activities from a single location helps ensure important operational tasks are completed consistently.

Activity Tracking helps teams:

  • Monitor Activities across multiple production lines.
  • Identify Activities that require attention.
  • Improve visibility of operator task completion.
  • Support shift leaders and supervisors in managing daily operations.
  • Improve accountability through real-time status tracking.

WHEN YOU WOULD USE THIS

Use this when:

  • Monitoring Activities across multiple production lines.
  • Reviewing pending or overdue Activities.
  • Identifying skipped or failed Activities.
  • Following up on incomplete operational tasks.
  • Supervising production across a site.

HOW IT WORKS

As Activities are triggered throughout production, their status is automatically updated within the Activity Tracking view.

From this page, users can:

  • Highlight failed Activities that require attention.
  • Monitor Activities across multiple production lines from a single screen.

This provides supervisors with an up-to-date overview of operational execution without needing to navigate to each individual production line.
