Hub: Batch Import

SUMMARY

Use this task hub to choose the appropriate method for importing products and batches into Factbird. The best method depends on whether you are entering data manually, using Excel, or connecting an external system through the API.

CHOOSE AN IMPORT METHOD

Import products and batches using Bulk Edit

Use Bulk Edit to copy and paste multiple products or batches directly into Factbird.

This is the recommended method for most manual imports because it does not require Excel macros or an API integration.

Related task:

Use the Batch Import API when an ERP system or another external application needs to create or update batches automatically.

This method requires an API integration and a valid Batch Import API key.

Related task:

Import batches using Excel

Use the Excel Batch Import workbook to create or update batches from a spreadsheet.

This method requires Excel macros and a Factbird API key. Because it depends on macros, Bulk Edit is generally recommended for manual imports where possible.
