Import Products & Batches (Bulk Edit)

SUMMARY

Use this guide to import multiple products and production batches into Factbird using the Bulk Edit feature. Importing data in bulk allows you to create or update production information efficiently without entering records individually.

WHEN TO USE THIS

Use this guide if:

You need to import multiple products.
You need to create multiple batches.

PREREQUISITES

Before starting:

You have permission to manage products or batches.
Your import file follows the required template.
The required products or batches have been prepared for import.

STEPS

Open the Bulk Edit page.
Have an excel spreadsheet with the products or batches you want to import.
Copy and paste the entries back to the application.

EXPECTED RESULT

After completing these steps:

Products or batches are created or updated.
Imported information is available within Factbird.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Issue: Products or batches were not imported.

Try: Review the validation messages.
Try: Correct any reported errors before importing again.
