SUMMARY
Use this guide to require a valid operator PIN sign-off each time an activity is submitted. E-signature requirements are configured per activity template.
WHEN TO USE THIS
- Use this guide if:
- An activity needs operator sign-off before submission
- You want only specific activity templates to require e-signature
- You need to control signature requirements per template
PREREQUISITES
- Before starting:
- You have permission to edit activity templates
- The activity template already exists
STEPS
- Open the activity template in Edit Activity
- In the left panel, enable E-signature required
- Click Save
EXPECTED RESULT
- After completing these steps:
- Every submission of that activity requires a valid PIN sign-off
- Activities without E-signature required enabled continue to work as before
TROUBLESHOOTING
Issue: The e-signature toggle is not visible
- Try: Confirm you have permission to edit the activity template
- Try: Ask a teammate with the correct permissions to check the template
Issue: The activity does not require a signature after saving
- Try: Reopen the template and confirm E-signature required is enabled
- Try: Save the template again
