WHAT THIS IS
Irregular Production Shift Patterns allow production schedules that do not follow a consistent weekly pattern to be imported into Factbird.
Factbird's shift scheduling system is designed for predictable, repeating schedules where shifts occur at the same times each week. This supports accurate production tracking, automatic stop registration, and reliable OEE calculations.
For manufacturing operations with highly variable production schedules, Factbird provides an Excel-based import process that allows custom shift schedules to be uploaded when a repeating schedule is not practical. This approach should only be used when standard weekly scheduling cannot meet operational requirements.

HOW IT WORKS
Factbird is designed to work with recurring weekly shift schedules wherever possible.
When an irregular schedule is required:
- A shift schedule is completed using the Factbird Excel template.
- The template includes the required shift dates, times, and schedule information.
- The completed template is submitted to Factbird Support.
- Factbird validates the schedule before importing it into the system.
This process ensures irregular schedules are imported consistently while maintaining accurate production reporting.
