In Factbird, changes to sensor settings - such as validated and expected speed - are only applied moving forward. These settings cannot be retroactively changed for historical data.
Workaround for Adjusting Past Speed Settings
If you need to reflect different validated or expected speeds for a past period (e.g., for reporting or analysis purposes), you can use the following workaround:
- Create a Batch in the Past
Navigate to the batch creation interface and manually create a batch with a start and end time that matches the historical period you want to adjust. - Modify Speed Settings
Within the newly created batch, you can set the desired validated and expected speed values. These will apply to the batch data and override the default sensor settings for that specific time window.
⚠️ Note: This method does not change the original sensor data but allows you to apply corrected speed values for analysis and dashboard purposes.
