SUMMARY
Use this guide to register a stop reason for a detected production stop. Factbird automatically detects and records stop times, allowing operators to focus on assigning the correct stop category and reason.
WHEN TO USE THIS
- Use this guide if:
- A production stop has occurred and requires a reason.
- You need to classify downtime using predefined stop categories and stop reasons.
PREREQUISITES
- Before starting:
- Stop categories and stop reasons have been configured.
- The stop appears in the Register Stop view.
STEPS
- Open the Register Stop view.
- Locate the stop you want to classify in the timeline.
- Select the stop.
- Choose the appropriate stop category.
- Select the relevant stop reason.
- Enter any required information, such as comments or initials.
- Click Register Stop.
EXPECTED RESULT
- After completing these steps:
- The selected stop is assigned to the chosen category and reason.
- The stop is recorded in Factbird for reporting and analysis.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Issue: The stop cannot be registered.
- Try: Verify that a stop category and stop reason have been selected.
- Try: Check whether a required comment or initials field is missing.
- Issue: The stop is no longer active.
- Try: Register the stop retrospectively after resolving the production issue.
- Try: Locate the stop in the timeline and assign the reason later.
