Why I am getting data spikes?

Data spikes are usually caused by the following: 

 

Rollover Threshold Settings

When the rollover threshold is set too high, a reset in the counter (e.g., after a batch ends) can trigger a spike. If you need to know what to set it to, check out this article for some guidance: What is rollover threshold and rollover value and what should they be set to?

 

Update Factbird DUO

If you notice incorrect or unexpected data, we recommend updating your Factbird DUO. Follow the steps in this guide: Update Factbird DUO firmware version

 

Verify PLC Health

If you're using a PLC, look for signal noise or hardware faults.

 

If you simply want to get rid of the spike, you can do so with a data override.
