Why does my production line show a red line and say missing data?

This usually indicates that the device attached is offline and no data is being received by Factbird.

Please note the following:

  • If a line is running (when it goes offline), the system will not perceive the line as stopped while there is missing data.
  • If a line is stopped already (when it goes offline), the system will continue to perceive the line as stopped until data is being received again with new product counts.

If you have a Factbird Duo, we would recommend first trying to power cycle it and check what colour the LED is. More troubleshooting steps are explained here: Troubleshooting Factbird Duo
