SUMMARY
Use this guide to replace incorrect production data for a specific time period. Data Override allows you to correct production data caused by sensor issues, incorrect counts, or other temporary data collection problems while preserving the integrity of your historical records.
WHEN TO USE THIS
Use this guide if:
- Production data has been recorded incorrectly.
- A temporary sensor or hardware issue has resulted in inaccurate production data.
- You need to correct production data for a specific time period.
PREREQUISITES
Before starting:
- You have permission to perform data overrides.
- You have identified the time period containing the incorrect data.
- You know the correct production values that should replace the existing data.
STEPS
- Navigate to the production line where you want to override the data.
- Select the Sensors tab.
- Identify the sensor that contains the incorrect production data.
- Adjust the displayed time period so it only includes the data you want to override.
- The data override will apply only to the selected time period.
- Click Override.
- Review the proposed data override to ensure the corrected values are accurate.
- Click Create override to apply the override.
- Verify that the updated production data is displayed for the selected time period.
EXPECTED RESULT
After completing these steps:
- The selected production data is replaced with the corrected values.
- Reports and KPIs use the updated production data.
- The override applies only to the selected time period.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Issue: The Data Override option is unavailable.
Try: Verify that you have the required permissions.
Issue: The corrected values are not shown in reports.
Try: Refresh the page or report.
- Try: Confirm that the correct time period was selected.
- Try: Verify that the override was saved successfully.
Issue: The wrong data was overridden.
Try: Review the selected time period before saving.
- Try: Apply another data override if further corrections are required.
