- Sensor activity can include intended production as well as unintended triggers, such as cleaning activity, a hand passing in front of the sensor, or small amounts of machine movement.
- If any activity is detected during a stop, Factbird will begin registering the activity as production data rather than continuing the stop registration.
- In environments where unintended sensor activity is common, powering off the machine/sensors after the automatic stop has been registered can help prevent accidental stop termination. Note: If you choose to power off your machines/sensors, you need to do so after they have entered automatic stop registration. If you turn off the machines/ power sensors down before the end of a scheduled shift (and thus before they have entered the automatic stop registration) the automatic stop registration will not trigger as expected.
