How to Subtract Stop Types from Targets on the Batch and Shift Dashboard
To ensure accurate performance tracking, Factbird allows you to exclude specific stop types from your target calculations on the Batch and Shift Dashboard. This guide walks you through the steps to do that.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Access the Dashboard
- From the line menu, click on Batch or Shift Dashboard.
- Open Dashboard Settings
- From the top menu, click on the Dashboard Icon to enter the settings menu.
- Subtract Stop Types
- To exclude a stop type from your target calculations:
- Click the checkbox next to the stop type you want to subtract.
- Checked stop types will be subtracted from the batch or shift target.
- Leave unchecked any stop types you do not want to subtract from the target.
Why This Matters
Subtracting specific stop types helps tailor your performance metrics to reflect only the relevant production time, giving you a clearer picture of operational efficiency. Factbird recommends as a default to subtract "Batch specific non-operations" and "Non production activities".
