Set Up A Analog Sensor On Factbird Duo

In this guide, we go over how to connect an analog sensor to Factbird Duo. This requires a Duo version 2 and up and an IFM DP2200 or DP1222 converter.

Common use cases:

  • Condition monitoring of temperature, humidity, and vibration
  • Consumption monitoring of electricity or other resources

Any analog sensor with an output of 4-20 mA can be hooked up to an IFM DP2200 converter or DP1222 if the output is 0-10 V. The converter then connects to the Factbird Duo.

  • For analog sensor with an output of 4-20 mA, use an IFM DP2200 converter
  • For analog sensor with an output of 0-10 V, use an IFM DP1222 converter
